When you're uncomfortable with the pricing in a manual system, you are forced to review and verify, individually, the various operations and individual steps involved. Two helpful graphs are available. The Price Analysis graph shows the material, labor, setup and burden components of the price. The Cost Analysis graph depicts costs by operation.

In a multiple method routing i.e.: manual equipment vs. CNC, or CNC vs. Screw Machine, MSE automatically selects the optimal routing based on the lowest per piece cost and displays the selection on the pricing functions screen. If you decide to view or select another routing, MSE automatically displays the per piece cost based on the selected routing method.

     

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Group Activity Mailboxes

When several people complete only selected portions of an estimate, each person can save their completed portion to the next recipient's mailbox (database).

Completed estimates can then be posted to the appropriate sales personnel.

Data Import & Export

The system offers a flexible and powerful import and export feature for customer, vendor, labor rate, and estimate data. Several manufacturing software developers provide direct data exchanges with MSE for their software programs. With these interfaces you can turn a quotation into a work order in seconds. Metric Conversions

Automatically convert Metric drawings to English units. Cam or process layouts can be generated in either Metric or English formats.

System Security

ISO security concerns are fully covered. Extensive security features address functions and databases, and include a variety of individual access levels, from view only mode, or cycle time estimates only, to restricting particular fields or functions from particular personnel. Standards, pricing  information and actual costs can be protected from unauthorized changes or viewing.
