SolidNEST is the first fabrication product designed to run exclusively inside of Solidworks. SolidNEST uses the same SolidWorks interface and geometry to generate toolpaths to ensure the part you machine is the same part you have modeled. Time-consuming file transfers using standard file formats such as IGES and SAT are eliminated.

The version of SolidWorks sold with SolidNEST is Parts & Assemblies. It has full part modeling and assembly capabilities, including all the functionality of the full SolidWorks version with the exception of creating a complex detailed / engineering drawing with a title block (cannot open or save .slddwg, .dxf, and .dwg files). SolidNEST will also work with a full version of Solidworks purchased from a Solidworks reseller.
